This is a high quality slug-fest in progress with Serena taking the first set 7-6.
The crowd is awkwardly quiet, however the ladies on center court are certainly not.
I’ve been compelled to shut my windows here because the shrieking is so loud this morning on the television (Heh)! But make no mistake, these two are clearly showing why they are truly the 2 best female tennis players in the world.

I chuckle at the thought of Ana, or Jankovic trying to match up with this. It’s just not the same.
Not even close.

Serena has set #1 and we move into the 2nd set.
